Normally on the 1st Saturday of every month Home Depot offers kids workshops. They hand out kits, hammers, and paint needed to complete a small project. After you complete the project you get a project pin for your orange apron. Ashlyn has made a butterfly house, a tic tac toe board, a pair of bookends, and a nail art heart. This last Saturday we drove to Home Depot hoping they were possibly handing out kits but unfortunately, they were not. Disappointed by the lack of drive-by kit distribution, I started researching. Home Depot has a great resource for DIY projects for kids, this will do for now Home Depot, this will do.
